At LVISN, we understand the pivotal role teachers play in shaping a positive learning environment. Through continuous training and collaborative sessions, we aim to empower our educators to create classrooms where positivity thrives. Here's to fostering a culture of growth and optimism! In our recent endeavors at LVISN, we're excited to share how our dedicated school counselors, Ms. Ambika Dutta and Ms. Pankhuri Sama, took proactive steps in enhancing teacher training to foster a positive classroom culture. Ms. Ambika Dutta conducted a special session for grade IX-X teachers, focusing on 'Positive Schooling.' This insightful workshop centered around the core principles of CONNECT, COMMITMENT TO POSITIVE SCHOOLING, and COLLABORATE. Ms. Ambika utilized case studies to highlight the profound impact teachers can have on students by creating a positive learning environment. The session provided strategies to identify and navigate challenges, fostering positive changes in the classroom. Continuing this initiative, Ms. Pankhuri Sama curated a unique experiential session titled 'Aao Sochein Sath - Building Effective Communication' for grade XI and XII teachers. The session commenced with a guided meditation, setting a positive tone for the teachers. Engaging in experiential activities, the teachers explored cognitive milestones of adolescence, actively participating in discussions on challenges such as impulse control, emotional regulation, and organizational skills. The collaborative atmosphere allowed for open dialogue and co-creation of solutions to address these challenges. Both sessions concluded on an artistic note, with teachers participating in an art-based activity to reflect on their insights and takeaways. This integrated approach exemplifies LVISN's commitment to building a positive culture.
