Ms. Neerja Rishi Incharge – Classes V - VI
Ms. Neerja Rishi, a post graduate in History from Rohilkhand University, has an experience of approximately 15 years in teaching students in the age group of 8-15 years. She joined Lotus Valley International School, Noida on April 1, 2007. She was appointed Incharge classes V-VI on December 1, 2016 and looks forward to infuse new energy and drive innovation in her department. She has been coordinating various events in the school and was being instrumental in bringing positive changes in the progress of the school.
She inspires her students to be keen learners, global thinkers and most importantly compassionate and sensitized human beings.She strongly believes that educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.
A positive person with a lot of determination, she strongly believes that hard work always pays. She loves her profession it connects her to so many young and diverse minds who inspire her to give her best every day. She explores life through the eyes of her students who have greatly helped in making her the person she is.
Ms. Neerja Rishi Incharge – Classes III – IV
Ms Charu Sehgal, a Post Graduate in Commerce from Delhi University and a distinction holder in Early Childhood Care and Education, has taught at the Bombay University and reputed schools across Delhi for close to 16 years. As the Grade Rep for nine years, she has made several contributions to mentor, build teams, hone leadership acumen and provide a supportive work environment through highly effective team processes.
Having been appointed the In Charge for grades III and IV on April 1st, 2018, she set out to ensure that every teacher and every student is supported and encouraged to be nothing but the best. A staunch believer that education has the power to liberate, it is her endeavour to make learning interesting and creative, by promoting the Multiple Intelligence Strategy, incorporating novel pedagogies and encouraging self-assessment for personal growth.
Her time in school has developed her philosophy of valuing each child as a unique individual. An optimist and perfectionist rolled into one, she is led by a dream in her heart. A dream that she doesn’t want the children to follow in her footsteps.......She wants them to take the path of their own making and go farther than she ever dreamt possible.
Ms. Mona Kalra Incharge – Classes I – II
Ms. Mona Kalra, an M.Sc., B.Sc. (Gold Medalist) in Home Science, joined the school in 2004 as a founder teacher. She has been in this noble profession for nearly two decades with a reputation for excellent classroom management skills and fun based learning. She was appointed as the In-charge, Classes I and II in the year, 2014.
In the 10 years of her service at LVIS, she has refined her skills to emerge as an excellent teacher and an inspiring team leader, endearing herself to the students and teachers alike. She has a keen eye for spotting talent in the students, possesses the wisdom to delegate responsibility and has the ability to give her students and team members opportunities to work towards more aspirational goals.
She inspires and leads by the sheer dynamism of a kind and compassionate heart. A perfectionist with a keen sense of responsibility, she believes in working with honesty and tireless dedication in order to realize a vision. Her bright and vibrant approach and her cheerful demeanour enable her to continue working with zeal and enthusiasm and drive the school to great heights of success.
Ms. Monica Ahuja Rao Incharge – Pre-Primary (PN – KG)
In her own words, Ms. Monica Ahuja Rao believes that, “Bringing up children is a social responsibility, which we achieve by partnering and working closely with our Parents.” Having more than 15 years of experience, Ms. Rao (MBA, B.Ed., B.A.) specializes in Early Childhood & Montessori Education and is an accomplished Teachers’ Trainer.
Known for nurturing immersive and experiential learning, she is able to create joyful and stimulating environment with the best techniques from across the globe. Through innovative pedagogic practices, she strives to foster a play-based and music-filled environ. She brings these strengths to her role as Head of Pre-Primary Department.
Her expertise in Music and Movement, Speech and Drama and Life Skills Education bolsters contemporary Educational programs in the Pre-Primary. Further, her skills-set extend to setting up International preschool start-up projects complete with curriculum development and new academic initiatives. Her proficiency in communication is only surpassed by her detail-oriented attitude. This is demonstrated by her adeptness at conducting seminars and presentations.
An avid reader, she is an aficionado of the Performing Arts. This is reflected in her capacity as Director of several successful Broadway-style English Musicals and Annual Days.
