In an effort to broaden the horizons of our students, Lotusians of grades VI to VIII embarked on unique excursions to diverse destinations. Grade 6 - Jim Corbett Expedition: Our intrepid VI graders set out on an unforgettable journey to Jim Corbett National Park. Over the course of three days, they immersed themselves in the lush wilderness, staying at a charming resort. From thrilling treks through dense forests to discovering the art of pottery, their experiences were nothing short of magical. The students not only had fun but also learned about the diverse flora and fauna, forging a deeper connection with nature. Grade 7 - Mukteshwar Exploration: Grade VII students set out on a journey to Mukteshwar, a place steeped in culture and natural beauty. During their trip, they visited a Shiv temple, offering a glimpse into India’s rich heritage. They also had the unique opportunity to tour the Kumaon radio station, gaining insights into the world of broadcasting. A visit to Supi village provided a hands-on experience of rural life, creating a deeper appreciation for diversity. Grade 8 - Mandawa and Alwar Expedition: The VIII graders embarked on an enriching journey to Mandawa and Alwar, where history and nature converged. They explored the serene Siliserh Lake, basking in its tranquil beauty. A visit to the majestic City Palace in Alwar transported them to a bygone era of royalty. This excursion was a perfect blend of historical exploration and natural serenity, leaving our students with a treasure trove of knowledge and memories. These excursions exemplify our commitment to holistic education, where students learn not only from books but also from the world around them. Each grade’s adventure was a unique blend of learning, exploration, and bonding, leaving an indelible mark on their educational journey.
