Our Lotusians received a prestigious invitation from the esteemed Chhanv Foundation to perform at the Miss Universe Great Britain event, held at Noida Stadium's Sheroes Hangout Café on September 25, 2023. These students are not just budding musicians but also passionate advocates for social change. They embarked on a mission to connect students globally, forming a human chain in support of Acid Attack Survivors (Sheroes). The students captivated the audience with their performances and raised ?30,000 during the September Donation Drive for Acid Attack Survivors. The event was graced by the presence of Team Miss Universe Great Britain - Jessica Page (Miss Universe Great Britain 2023 winner), Alisha Cowie (Miss International UK 2023), Claudia Todd (Miss Universe Great Britain 2023 finalist), Harriotte Lane (Miss Universe Great Britain 2023 finalist) and Paula Abbandonato (MUGB and A-Sisterhood Director). Members of our staff, including Ms. Deepti Singh (Vice Principal), Ms. Seema Rana (CLE Head), Ms. Jaya Mendiratta and Ms. Rashmi Chhibba Jauhar were present. Ms. Deepti Singh was also honored with a Certificate of Acknowledgement for the school's contribution towards the education and training of the sheroes.
