Middle School LVISN celebrated the nation's 77th Independence Day with boundless enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on Monday, 14 August 2023. The event commenced with a sublime song medley presented by the school choir and was followed by an exuberant cultural extravaganza. The eye-catching and scintillating dance performances – kathak, the special classical dance performance stimulated love and reverence for our beautiful motherland. This was followed by a motivational skit and Hindi Kavita on ‘Hamari Azaadi’ dedicated to the selfless contribution of our freedom fighters.
Vice Principal, Ms Shilpika Dass, emphasized that the true meaning of freedom is not just rights, but duties; not just liberty, but responsibility, and urged students to inculcate a sense of responsibilitytowards their nation, school, parents, peers, and most of all, themselves. The Incharge of the Middle School, Ms Neerja Rishi, inspired students to collaborate to build a resilient and thriving nation. Middle School welcomed to the programme German faculty, Mr Christian Moll, from Gymnasium Fränkische Schweiz in Ebermannstadt, Bayern, Deutschland, who was awestruck by the talent and dedication of the students and their efforts in making the celebration a success.
