Lessons in Cybersecurity for Lotusians

An impactful morning assembly focused on the theme of Cybersecurity was held in the LVISN middle wing on 8 Aug’23. Its aim was to raise awareness among students about safe online practices. The event comprised regular assembly features like News, Thought for the day, a book review along with a captivating talk show, yoga performance, and an entertaining street play on cybersecurity. The Student Council's IT Committee enlightened the students about potential risks and offered valuable tips to stay protected in cyberspace. It was followed by a serene yoga performance promoting mental and emotional well-being amidst the rapidly evolving digital landscape. The 'nukkar natak' performed by talented students emphasised the importance of responsible use of internet with the compelling portrayal of real-life cyber incidents. The assembly also included student awardee for full attendance in the previous academic year, and felicitated Anaira Mittal Jinadal of VIII Cubbon and Sanvi Jain of VII Atlas, who bagged the first position in TechnoFest-Appify: Interschool Competition held at Sarvottam International School, Noida. The students of grade VIII also applauded the Middle school team LV BLOCKCODERS who participated in Technovation, a global app development competition for girls, and qualified for Quarter Finals. The team members are: Tulip Bose, Advika Sharma, Anaira Mittal Jindal, Freya Rajput and Sanvi Agarwal. Incharge, Ms. Neerja Rishi also congratulated Palak Das, Namya Kapoor, Mannat Khanna, Eshanaya Jain, and Sanjana Mishra for qualifiying for the Quarter Finals in the same competition the previous year.
