“What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candour, more unashamed conversation.” And we at LVISN couldn't agree more! The corridors of Lotus Valley reverberated with happy songs and positive vibes as the student council set up We Care - a Mental Health Awareness Corner on 5 August, 2023. This initiative was taken by the Peer Leaders from its conception to execution, making it an entirely student-led activity.
The corner had special games like Knock it Out, Shoot your Love, Crossword Corner and Build your Blocks. The activities saw enthusiastic participation from students, parents and teachers alike.
Photobooth was a major attraction among the visitors, advocating positive mental health. Our beloved Principal Ma’am welcomed all the parents, which was followed by a special musical performance by grade IX-XII students with live music.
The Call-to-Action booth was also set up to spread more awareness on the importance of mental health, and the volunteers spoke to parents and students about the initiatives that our school has taken.
