Character and Success Synonymous at LVISN

Character is the real foundation of all worthwhile success. On this premise, Lotusians of class IX conducted an assembly, themed ‘Character and Success’. The assembly commenced with an inspirational thought followed by a breathtakingly melodious song, composed and sung by Aisha Shukla. An engaging book review followed, where the acclaimed ‘How do you live?’ by Genzaburo Yoshino was discussed. An impassioned recitation of the poem titled ‘Manushyata’, written by Maithili Sharan Gupt, was met with thunderous applause from the captive audience. A scintillating dance performance enthralled the audience before the Vice Captain CSR, Pranet Kumar, and Vice Head-boy, Vivaan Mathur, introduced a thoughtful initiative on managing different types of waste being undertaken by LVISN. The Waste Management Project aims to create awareness, as well as dispatch different types of waste to ‘Blue Planet’ to recycle or repurpose waste into furniture and sculptures. The assembly culminated with prize distribution to felicitate winners of various inter- and intra-school competitions.
