On July 22, 2023, a special session on ‘Positive Communication’ was conducted by Ms. Ambika, the school counsellor, for the teachers of grades IX-X. The workshop aimed at enhancing teachers' positive communication skills and foster a nurturing learning atmosphere for children. The main theme revolved around the idea that through NOTICING, TALKING, and ACTING, teachers can play a pivotal role in helping students navigate their challenges, leading to positive changes in their lives. Through a role-play activity, Ms Ambika highlighted the importance of empathetic listening to the problems of learners and shared strategies to identify and navigate through the issues and anxieties faced by contemporary learners.
