Recitation not only makes learning joyful but also aids in confidence, imagination and language development. With the aim to develop oratory skills, 'Budding Orators' Recitation Activity was organised for the students of Kindergarten from 8-10 May, 2023. The little buds put their best foot forward and their performances were truly exemplary. The theme of the activity was ‘Summer Season’. Since it was a bilingual activity, our Lotus Buds came well prepared with rhymes and poems in English as well as Hindi like ‘Summer Summer time for fun’, ‘Summer is almost here’, ‘Garmi aayi Garmi aayi’, ‘Kaise Kaise Khel laayi Garmi’ and many more.
The confidence exhibited by the Tiny Tots while speaking was praiseworthy. Their voice modulation, facial expressions and gestures stole the hearts of everyone and left the audience asking for more. The activity provided a platform for children to develop self-confidence and showcase their public speaking skills. The colourful props and flashcards made the entire activity more entertaining and enjoyable.To encourage the children and reward them for their lovely performances, appreciation badges were awarded to all.
