LVISMUN DAY 2 (27 JULY, 2024)

The two-day LVISMUN concluded with a remarkable valedictory ceremony on 27 July 2024 that underscored the theme "Peace: Fostering a Better Tomorrow” through Assistance, Alliance, and Advocacy." Day 2 of the conference saw enthusiastic participation from delegates who engaged in deep discussions and debates on pressing global issues. The valedictory ceremony featured an inspiring speech from Mr. Ashok Sajjanhar, Former Ambassador from India to Sweden, Kazakhstan, and Latvia emphasizing the crucial role of international cooperation and youth advocacy in achieving global peace. He also commended the students for their dedication and insightful contributions to the MUN sessions. The phenomenal cultural performance, ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ added a vibrant touch to the event, showcasing the rich diversity and unity among nations. During the ceremony, outstanding delegates and committees were recognized for their exemplary performances. The Best School Delegation trophy was won by Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram. Additionally, resolutions addressing significant issues such as education reforms, human rights, and conflict resolution were adopted, reflecting the students' commitment to making a positive impact on the world. In her closing remarks, Director Principal Dr Ruchi Seth praised the students for their hard work and highlighted the importance of continued dialogue and action towards peace.
