To occasion experiences in the lap of nature and foster synergistic learning, the Lotusians of grade X went on a 3-day trip to Jim Corbett National Park - the tiger's own den. 219 students travelled in 2 separate groups on 01-03 April 2023 and on 03-05 April 2023 due to the overwhelming positive response to an out-station opportunity after years owing to the pandemic.
The journey started with curious eyes and hearts riddled with excitement looking at the pleasing views on offer. From trudging on a yummy ‘Maggie Walk’ to trekking to the Corbett Falls, from an interaction with a naturalist to boarding an open jeep safari, from a thumping at a DJ night to exploring the Corbett Museum, holistic education was at its victorious best!
The students basked in the gorgeous flora and fauna in Jim Corbett and were left enamored by the ethereal sounds of running water hitting the rocks. A visit to the beautiful Garjia Temple was the perfect end of memorable trip. Jim Corbett displayed the healing power of mother-nature to the young minds and souls. It was truly an enriching experience.
