On 9th November 2022, Grade X of Lotus Valley International School, Noida presented an assembly on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. The assembly commenced with a prayer recital by the school choir, followed by lighting of the lamp by the school Principal, Dr. Ruchi Seth, accompanied by the Vice-Principal, Ms. Jyoti Vats and the Academic Coordinator, Ms. Sukriti Roy. Students chanted the Mool Mantra to invoke the Divine energy. The comp?res then introduced the festival of Guru Nanak Jayanti/ Gurupurab to the audience, talking about its real significance. The highlight of the assembly was a skit on an incident from Guru Nanak?s life, which underscored the importance of giving respect and love to all beings. Complete with the mellifluous incantation of the shabad, a performance by the band and an enlightening video on the importance of Sewa and the need to recognize the divinity of the self, the assembly left the audience exalted and inspired to adopt the teachings of the great man, Guru Nanak in their lives.
