Special Assembly on Teacher’s Day Classes I and II

‘A teacher affects eternity. No one can tell where his influence stops.’

Classes I and II celebrated Teacher’s Day through a Special Assembly on 5th September, 2017 to celebrate the birthday of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan and to make their own teachers know how special they are. With this thought, the students of class II Elbrus and Kanchanjunga, hosted the Special Assembly and made it a memorable morning for all.

The thought for the day ‘Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu’ highlighted the importance of role of teachers in shaping the minds of our future citizens. It was followed by a skit that showcased the life of Dr S. Radhakrishnan, the second President of our country whose birthday is celebrated as Teacher’s Day. Rolling to the next, was a medley of songs and dance on the foot- tapping numbers ‘I had a dream’ and ‘Every morning as the sun’ where the young performers set the stage on fire with their mesmerizing performance.

Last but not least, the teachers were given titles that spoke volumes about each teacher’s personality and their dedication. Each and every teacher was delighted on receiving so much of love from everyone.

The Principal, Dr. Ruchi Seth and the In-charge Classes I and II, Ms. Mona Kalra lauded the efforts put in by the small children and their teachers and greeted everyone on this joyous occasion.
