India’s youngest writer

Ishaan Arora was all of 7 years when he became India’s youngest writer to have published a book, and at 11 years, became the world’s youngest book series author, a feat for which he has been felicitated by the Honourable President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, and recently by the Honourable Minister of Human Resource Development, Shri Prakash Javadekar.

A student of class VIII of Lotus Valley International School Noida , Ishaan’s first novel, The Mysterious Swordsman, a fanciful saga about a reluctant warrior and a tyrannical Spanish dictator, draws from classical European Celtic myths, and is set in fantastic realms like Camelot and Atlantis. Quite in contrast, his second novel, Rahul Beats Bangladesh, is set in the prosaic world of the ICC World Cup. Both novels span the protagonist’s journey of self-discovery, from ignorance to enlightenment, from adversity to victory, from ordinariness to sublimity.

He has vowed to donate all earnings from the sale of both his books to underprivileged children. We're proud of this bright young star of the Lotus Valley galaxy, and look forward to many more feats and accolades by this enterprising and charismatic budding writer!
