 Report on Class VIII: Trip to Hyderabad (14th – 17th April 2016)

An educational trip to Hyderabad was organized for the students of Class VIII_Lotus Valley International School from 14th -17th April.
59 students accompanied by 6 teachers and two escorts from Cox & Kings reached Hyderabad on 14th morning. Stay was at Hotel Mansarover Fern, a four star property.
On the first day, the group visited NTR Park (where they went on a few rides) and in the evening went for a cruise in the Hussain Sagar Lake. Second day they went to the Snow World, spent around an hour. After lunch at the hotel, the group proceeded to Golconda Fort, which is famous for its acoustics and a conquered history. At the fort itself, in the evening they watched the sound and light show, narrated by Amitabh Bachchan.
Next day it was a visit to the Ramoji Film City, Asia’s largest film studio. After a tour of the place, students visited the action theatre, filmi duniya, space yatra, Borasura-a magician’s workshop, Bird Park, spirit of Ramoji and saw the stunt show and also had lunch in the film city.
The last day of the trip was a visit to the Salarjung Museum, the largest one-man collection of art and artifacts. Followed by lunch at the hotel, the group proceeded for the airport at 3.45 pm to catch their flight back home.
It was a packed and thoroughly enjoyable trip, both for the students as well as the teachers, with loads of beautiful memories carried back home.
