We, at Lotus Valley, are committed to providing our students, a wide range of opportunities and also exposing them to real life situations thereby enhancing their life skills. For happy, cheerful memories of a carefree, unfilled childhood, a three nights four days trip to Hyderabad was organised for the students of Class 5 from 01st October to 04th October 2015.
The exciting journey to the city of smiles, of lights, of a thousand faces, and the Pearl City commenced in the early hours of 01st day of October where the overjoyed students along with nine teachers proceeded to the airport.
Upon reaching their destination the students checked in at Hotel Mansarovar - The Fern. The children visited Salar Jung Museum This museum houses one of the biggest one-man collections of antiques of the world by Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, Salar Jung III. Children marvelled at the amazing the objects d’art including the Veiled Rebecca and Marguerite and Mephistopheles. In the evening they enjoyed the boat ride at the Hussain Sagar Lake amidst loads of dance, music and frolic.  The children also saw one of the World’s tallest monolithic statues of the Buddha that stands on the ‘Rock of Gibraltar’, in the middle of the lake. They then visited another attraction on Day 2 at Madhapur besides Hi-tec city in Hyderabad, the 30-acre village, which showcases arts and crafts of the country followed by a visit to the “Golconda Fort” which is one of the famous forts of India. The fort is famous for its acoustics, palaces, ingenious water supply system and the famous Fateh Rahben gun. Day 3 was the most exciting one as the children went to the world famous Ramoji Film City which is spread over idyllic 2,500 acres and studded with hills, woods, lakes and striking architectural triumphs. Ramoji Film City, a tribute to the bewitching magic of cinema, is the dream destination for entertainment and relaxation. The children enjoyed the stunt show; dance and music show at the same time being aware of the skills of movie making through the live demo. On Day 4 the children visited the Sudha Car Museum, which is a beautiful museum with a variety of cars .Children were ecstatic as they saw different cars like burger car, camera car, football car, table car, helmet car, cricket bat car,etc. All the cars are working models and once in two years the cars are taken out on the road and are driven.
It was indeed a great learning and prodigious experience for everyone.
