“A teacher affects eternity. No one can tell where his influence stops”
Classes I and II celebrated Teacher’s Day through a Special Assembly on 4th September, 2015 to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and to make their own teachers know how special they are. With this thought, the students of class II Annapurna and Nanda Devi, hosted the Special Assembly and made it a memorable morning for all.
The assembly highlighted the importance of  guru or teacher in shaping the lives of children. The brief talk on the importance of celebrating Teachers’ Day was followed by a skit on how God spent a lot of time to create the teacher. A teacher has to play various roles and it took God some time to make one who is a mother, a friend, a guide, a philosopher and a mentor too, all rolled into one! The group dance, performed enthusiastically by students, was a show-stealer which enthralled the audience.  The teachers were given titles that spoke volumes about each teacher’s personality and their dedication in the field of teaching. Each and every teacher was delighted on receiving so much of love from everyone.
Our Principal ma’am, Dr. Ruchi Seth graced the occasion and lauded the efforts put in by the small children and their teachers. Vice- Principal ma’am,Mrs. Indu Yadav  and In charge ma’am, Mrs. Mona Kalra too praised the efforts of the dedicated teachers of Lotus Valley.
