Along with basic health related amenities, LVIS offers a
myriad of amenities of up-to-date standards which allow our
students to keep in tune with the world, nurture their talent,
and cultivate aesthetic values for an all round personal
development.
MEDIA CENTRE
The media centre is an interactive resource room that is more
than a library. Not only does it house a wide collection of
books for all ages, it has sections devoted to CD-Roms, videos
and online learning. It has designated areas for individual
Study and small-group tuition, with modern conference
facilities for larger numbers.
CAFETERIA
Our innovatively decorated cafeteria serves healthy and
nutritious snacks in hygienic and healthy surroundings. We, at
parental request, serve regular lunches, keeping in mind the
proper dietary requirements for the growing child.
COMPUTER LAB
Our computer are all high-grade TFT Screen units with
ancillary printers and carefully monitored and filtered
internet connectivity. Each child has his own work-station and
access to an individual computer for hands-on practice.
MEDICAL CENTRE
Our health unit is staffed by our full-time nurse who monitors
the general physical development of our children and provides
immediate first-aid treatment as needed. Arrangements have
also been made with high-quality, nearby nursing homes and
hospitals in the unlikely event of full medical faciliteis
being required.
ART & CRAFT
Since it is a part of our philosophy that all activities are
essential to our curriculum, no expense has been spared in
providing sophisticated art & craft studios where our faculty
not noly teach, but also produce their own professional
art-work.
LANGUAGE LABORATORY
Located in our audio-visual room, the language lab encourages
accelerated language learning as students listen, repeat, and
communicate individually with the teacher's should any query
arise. At Lotus Valley, we focus on the practical
conversational usage of the language. It is our wish that our
students habe the facilities to perfect their speech, having
impeccable pronunciation with voice modulation and inflection
iin their adopted language.
GYMNASIUM
Our spacious gymnasium is an excellent setting for indoor
games, table tennis, yoga and aerobic exercise. Rhythmic and
general gymnastics form a major part of our physical education
curriculum. Exercise machines are available for use under
controlled supervision.
PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT
Our younger children enjoy a wide variety of recreational
items in the landscaped aras of the school, and are supervised
by our staff to ensure that playtimes are safe, secure and
enjoyable. There is a miniature road system for children to
drive mini-motobikes and cars while learning the rules of the
road and the safety code.
DEDICATED ROOMS FOR ACTIVITIES
While our infants Lotus Buds children have spacious rooms
equipped with superbly crafted play equipement set aside in
our lower ground floor, older children learn in custom-built
activity areas that look onto a central atrium with stage.
MUSIC & DANCE
There are fully equipped studios for Indian traditional and
contemporary dance that are spacious enough to allow our staff
and students to choreograph works for future stage
performances. The Indian and western music studios cater for
both choral and instrumental music, reflecting our ethos that
Lotus Valley brings together the best from both oriental and
occidental cultures.
